Studies Done in Liberal Denmark prove that Conservative Men are Stronger.

Scientists from Aarhus University in Denmark collected data on bicep size, socio-economic status and support for economic redistribution from hundreds in America, Argentina and Denmark. The Results are in.
Guess what they found out? No shocker there. Men who are stronger physically tend to be conservative politically. That’s right liberal ladies, eat your heart out. Our men are stronger. For those of us who love conservative men, this is no shock. People who are able to take care of themselves and others tend to be conservative, while those who need to lean on others and support the welfare state are naturally liberal.
strong man vs weak man
The Study leaves little room for doubt. The figures are quite revealing. Men with higher levels of upper body strength were far less likely to support the re-distribution of wealth, and far less likely to support left-wing ideology. In Stark contrast, men with less upper body strength were far less likely to assert their self-interest, and supported programs that re-distributed wealth.
It is simple biology really. The liberals, being naturally weaker, support programs that will level the playing field for them. Since they cannot take care of themselves, they have designed a system of living that works for them, and protects them, and allows them to remain weaker, while still surviving. It is rather ingenious really. I mean you have to admire the tenacity. “I can’t take care of myself, so I will find a way to make someone else do it. ”

That’s just my take on the whole thing. :) Rock On Strong conservative Men.

Gay Male Denied Chance To Run for Prom Queen. Outrage ensues

Coy Villasenor, made waves in the  Hays Consolidated Independent School District, when he tried to run for prom queen.  He is an openly gay student who says he identifies as female. He wears makeup and fills in his eyebrows, but he still wears male clothing. He says that prom queen would’ve been more appropriate for his role. However, his school was having none of it. They forbid him from running for prom queen. The school district issued a statement: “Requiring male students who are legally male and who present themselves as male to run in the male category and female students who are legally female and who present themselves as female to run in the female category – protects the equal access for male and female students to each achieve a place on the prom court.”
Well naturally outrage ensued. Coy said, “I wear foundation, I fill in my eyebrows, I take care of myself how a female should. I mean the king’s title is more masculine and the queen is someone who rules with a gentle hand and that’s how I am.”  Then the liberal folk got themselves involved. The Gay rights organization Equality Texas issued a statement: “We believe a person is male or female based on their personal gender identity and not on physiology or what the state decides to put on an identification card, spokesperson Lisa Scheps said.
The young man has filed a grievance with the school district saying, “It’s about standing up for who you are, being confident, loving yourself and just being open without anybody telling you, you can’t do it or it’s not okay to do it, Society sees it as an issue. I see it as just someone expressing who you are.” He says he filed the grievance to help other students in the future. He doesn’t want them to feel slighted as he does. He wanted to be the next Sergio Garcia, who became the first male prom queen in Fairfax. Hell, they even look a bit alike.
Article286099_Sergio Prom Queen 1

Look, this is nothing to get outraged, and angry over. He looks like a boy. Why is it so all fired important to be prom queen anyway. Out of all the rights I can think of for Gay people to quibble over, the right to be prom queen is low on the list. Is there nothing that can’t just be left alone? I get it that he feels he should be allowed to be prom queen. Well, I have news for you, young man. You were born a male. You look like a male, and you identify as homosexual. If you were a woman and liked men you wouldn’t be homosexual now would you? Just because you slap on some makeup now and again doesn’t mean you are a woman. I mean, geez, I used to wear my husbands shirts to bed once in a while, it didn’t make me a man.
I think the real issue, is attention whoring. Someone felt the need to be the center of attention and get a news blurb on fox news. Everyone in school will either feel sorry for him or hate his guts, but he certainly wont be ignored. He has assured his place in the high school hall of fame at that school. Apparently for some, being the center of attention is a way of life. My advice is simple. Let the girls have their prom queen and grow up a little. Enjoy your life. Stop looking for other people to validate your way of life. If you are strong, and so happy with yourself why do you feel the need for constant approval and acceptance from the rest of society? Get over yourself, you just aren’t that important in the grand scheme of things.

Gay Gym Teacher Fired By Catholic School for Being Homosexual Fights Back, but Without Her Union’s Help

Carla Hale who was terminated from her job as a Gym teacher after it was revealed that she was in a relationship with a woman, is continuing to fight the termination. However, it would seem that the odds are against her. Even her Union,  Central Ohio Association of Catholic Educators, is refusing to take up her cause.  The school terminated her, after her mother’s Obituary revealed that her partner was a woman. Some parents complained that they didn’t send their kids to a private Catholic School to be taught by a Lesbian, and considered that is was “shameful”.
Hale was summoned to a meeting with school administrators after she returned from her mother’s funeral.
At the meeting, she received a copy of her mother’s obituary that she and her brother had written. In addition, administrators gave Hale an anonymous letter from a parent calling the presence of a lesbian teacher at the school disgrace.
Hale was subsequently dismissed from Bishop Watterson Catholic High School after 19 years of service, with the school citing a morality provision in the contract between teachers and the diocese.

Here is my take on this matter. Despite the fact that she has given 19 years to this institution and was never found unfit before, the school decided to terminate her, due to a morality clause in her contract with the school. Homosexuality is not in keeping with the teachings of the catholic faith. Private schools must be allowed the freedom of their religion, and be able to make choices about their staff, with regard to their faith. With that said, I am sorry that the school felt compelled to fire this woman.
She has an impeccable teaching record and she has given many years to the school. I find it disappointing that this happened. As far as I know she was not teaching anything about homosexuality. Why she wants to continue working at this specific school I do not understand. She could go to another school, a public school without the stricter hiring requirement. Hell they would probably LOVE to have a Lesbian Gym teacher.  The Government schools love that type of thing.  If I were her I would simply find employment elsewhere.
So even though, I am not sure the school made the right decision, they have the right to do so. I support religious freedom in this country. I believe in a private schools right to choose staff that is keeping with their morality. If a person violates church doctrine and it is a church funded school, this is bound to happen.  I do wonder of course if the school is this strict with all of their members. I wonder if extra-marital affairs are overlooked, or perhaps fornication? I am quite certain that none of us is sin free, and though I do not agree with the homosexual lifestyle, this teacher does not seem much of a threat to me.
religious freedom
I get the parents point. They pay to keep their kids free of the liberal indoctrination that is rampant in public schools now days. I send my children to private school for many reasons.  One is the quality of education is better in the school they go to. They have more hands on learning and a stricter routine, and better athletic programs. I think that a private school has the right to pick and choose their staff according to the teachings of their faith, and to make sure that the parents are getting what they were promised.  We must not infringe on a privately funded school’s rights to hire and fire people according to the teachings of their faith.
I wish Carla Hale luck, and hope she finds a job where she will be better appreciated, and where her lifestyle will be better accepted. Perhaps her choice to teach at a private catholic school was misguided. I would advise Ms. Hale to drop her lawsuit, if even the union isn’t backing you, it is likely because you don’t have a case. You signed the contract with the morality clause in it. Now unfortunately you have to live with the consequences. You violate your contract, you get terminated. That’s just how it works.

UPDATED: Gosnell found guilty of 3 counts of Murder

Update: 6:55 5/13/13

I was wrong. Kermit Gosnell has been found guilty of 3 counts of Murder, in the late term abortion deaths of 3 infants, and was acquitted of a fourth murder charge. He was also found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the overdose death of an adult patient. I have never been so happy to be wrong. :)  Now we enter the penalty phase of the trial. The jury will hear evidence in the penalty phase and must decide if Gosnell will get the death penalty.

I wonder if Gosnell's age will be a factor. He is in his 70's and no one has been executed in PA for 13 years, and No one who appealed has been executed since 1962. It doesn't really look promising. Also add to those dismal numbers, is the fact that the average time from sentencing to death is 15 years, and longer in Pennsylvania.  Gosnell would be crowding 90 before he was executed.

Time will tell. Either way, the butcher from Philly will kill no more.

It appears the Kermit Gosnell case is headed for a hung jury.  Deliberations about the Philadelphia butcher, have reached the 10th day, and the judge instructed them to go back to deliberation. If the Jury cannot make a decision, then the trial will effectively be a hung jury and Gosnell will walk free, until the state goes for another trial. IF they go for another trial. He appeared happy and confident in court today, smiling and shaking hands with his attorney’s. He smells the victory. At this point considering the overwhelming evidence that was found a mistrial would be a victory for the defense.
evil gosnell

My prediction is this guy will walk for now.  They charged him with over 250 charges which can be confusing for a jury to decipher and sort through. It makes for a complicated deliberation. I personally think they would’ve done better to stick with the Murder charges and tack on some of the more serious ones for good measure, but the truth is, after 10 days and a note to the judge that they are hopelessly deadlocked generally equals mistrial. I predict that the prosecution will likely seek a second trial, but seeing as how the media was so lackluster about the first trial a second trial will be even worse.
People will forget about this evil butcher. They will forget the evil that is in abortion clinics. They will lose interest. The lack of MSM coverage, and the lack of outrage by channels like NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, etc… will allow this man to quietly slide into oblivion. The grisly images, of the freezer full of dead baby remains will be forgotten.
fetal remains

The inhuman conditions, and the disgusting unsanitary practices. The assembly line style murder of innocents will be forgotten. He will be found guilty in his second trial, but get a slap on the wrist. I hope I am wrong. I have seen this type of thing before. People in America are notoriously ADD. They forget something as soon as it ceases to be scandalous news. The truth is, the media just didn’t want to talk about it. They would rather pretend that this is some isolated thing, and it doesn’t happen in abortion mills all over the country.  I won’t stop talking about it. I wont stop harping on it. I will never give up. I will post updates to this trial on my website and try to get the word out. We should NEVER allow this butcher to walk among humanity.
Never forget:
Gosnell sick

Rest in Peace Little one.

Don’t forget it. Force the DA to go for a second trial. This man needs to be in prison. Forever.

Obama Allowing Torturous conditions and force-feeding of detainees cleared for release at Guantanamo Bay

This should be more in the news, but mostly the Main Stream Media has been silent about it.  Well, I will NOT be silent. Remember Obama’s promise to close Guantanamo Bay?  Well, as he found out, it is really not that simple. However he has another little problem that has not been highly publicized. Well, it hasn’t been publicized on television really. Many of the Guantanamo bay detainees are on hunger strike.  In fact of the 165 or so detainee’s 100 of them are on hunger strike.
Lest we assume this is one of those things that will pass, with the thought, “They will eat when they get hungry”, 22 of them are now being force-fed to keep them alive. They are literally starving themselves to death. Now normally, I wouldn’t worry about such a thing, I mean if someone would rather die than face the specter of indefinite detention in Gitmo Hell, I would say let them have their way. However, the fact is 85 of these people have been “cleared for release”.
This is my problem with this: If they have been cleared for release, WHY are they still languishing in Gitmo? This is Obama’s dirty little secret. Not only couldn’t he close Gitmo, but the prisoners that have been cleared, have no place to go.  We don’t want them running free in the U.S. and many of them wont be allowed back in their own countries. Obama, who is supposed to be a great humanitarian, and has received a Nobel prize, is allowed horrific conditions in his GITMO hell. The red cross has become concerned, and tells about the conditions in Gitmo. Mind you this is the conditions in the prison for people who have been cleared for release.  A group of U.N. human rights officials has demanded an end to the force-feeding, saying it is a form of torture. “Hunger strikers should be protected from all forms of coercion, even more so when this is done through force and in some cases through physical violence,” the group said in a statement last week.
Guantanamo Bay detainees
It has become such an international scandal that Obama addressed it publicly again “The idea that we would still maintain forever a group of individuals who have not been tried, that is contrary to who we are. It is contrary to our interests and needs to stop,” Yet, it continues. This great country who is so concerned about the way prisoners in the Middle East are treated are literally allowing people who were cleared for release to be forcibly and with violence, to be held down and be force-fed. You may wonder what force feeding entails.
Fayiz al-Kandari, one of the detainees who has been cleared for release describes the feeling. First, there is the sensation of the tube passing near his sinuses as it is pushed through his nose and into his throat, which causes his eyes to water. Then there is an intense burning and gagging sensation as it goes down the throat. Finally, when the tube enters the stomach there is a strong urge to vomit. However, for al-Kandari the worst is yet to come. The most painful moment of all comes when the food forced into his stomach brings a return of the hunger pain that had mostly receded.  This is what we are doing to people who Obama has declared fit for release.
You can’t have it both ways Obama. They are either cleared for release or they aren’t. You can’t indefinitely torture people, who you have declared are safe for release.  How can our government claim to be humane, while we allow the torture of people who have been “released”? The hypocrisy makes me ill. It is time for Obama to put up or SHUT up. Either these detainees are free or they are not free. If they are not, then it is time to bring them to justice, instead of this costly upkeep and now medical force-feeding that continues to keep Gitmo a source of shame.

Suddenly Benghazi looks serious to the BBC: “Heads will Roll”

In a refreshing turn around, the editor of the BBC Mark Mardell expressed a change of heart regarding the growing scandal of Benghazi. Previously Mr. Mardell had been dismissive of any idea that there was a cover up or a scandal involving Benghazi, but today he had something different to say. “This is now very serious, and I suspect heads will roll,” Mardell writes “The White House will be on the defensive for a while.”
Why the change of tune? Well he became convinced after ABC released hard evidence that the State Department asked the CIA to delete a paragraph that made reference to an  Al Qaeda-linked group, Ansar Al-Sharia. ABC had 12 separate edited drafts on the talking points of Benghazi. A State Department spokeswoman, Victoria Nuland, asked that the paragraph be taken out because the reference  “could be abused by members [of Congress] to beat up the State Department for not paying attention to warnings, so why would we want to feed that either? The BBC expressed a growing concern about Hillary Clinton’s lack of explanation. Mr. Mardell  stated that ABC had provided the  “first hard evidence that the State Department did ask for changes to the CIA’s original assessment.”
At first Mr. Mardell had assumed it was a partisan witch hunt. He stated, “In the interests of full disclosure I have to say I have not in the past been persuaded that allegations of a cover-up were a big deal. It seemed to me a partisan attack based on very little,” but as new evidence has come to light, Mr. Mardell now thinks that Hillary will have much to answer for. He believes that she will have to eventually answer questions about why her department significantly edited the CIA information.
So now my question is of course. Why did she want the CIA paragraph removed? What else was edited out and why? It is easy to make assumptions, and speculate, and only Mrs. Clinton will have the answers. I have some suggestions as to why.
Possibly she wanted the gross incompetence of her department covered up. Clearly warnings were ignored and huge errors that caused loss of life. Then instead of investigating properly they blamed Gregory Hicks AFTER that had already sung their praises.
Perhaps, she feared that evidence of incompetence from her department would damage any future political aspirations she may have had.
Maybe, Hillary just hates to look stupid. I mean honestly she blamed the attacks on Nakoula Basseley Nakoula. She vowed to see him arrested and prosecuted for exercising his right to free speech and for telling the TRUTH about Muslims.  Guess what? He IS STILL in Jail. Even though clearly, the Benghazi attacks was a terrorist attack by Al Qaeda.  He is “officially” in jail for reasons unrelated to the video. He is in jail on a probation violation. 8 months after he was blamed for the attacks and arrested for making a video, he is still languishing in prison. Something doesn’t seem right about that.
All of this is just empty speculation. I doubt we will ever really know the full truth. After all, she is a Clinton. We all know that  the Clintons know how to scheme hide and deceive. I think Hillary’s hope for 2016 is shot. Just watch and learn as Obama points the cold hard finger of blame her way.  I wonder if she knew this is what she was signing up for when she made a deal with “the devil”.

Grassroots Blogging

The most important thing for any movement to be successful, is for people to be talking about it. If nobody cares, then there will be no movement. In this day and age, with the 24 hour news cycle, and all the gadgets we want, at our disposal, conservatives must get an edge. We must have something that liberals do not. The constant struggle between tyranny and freedom always persists, and as citizens of the greatest nation on earth, you must believe that your duty to this country is to vote. I challenge that. Voting isn't enough anymore. It appears as though this country has decided to ignore common sense. It is your duty to start blogging. It's free, not too time consuming, and you can make an impact. As Thomas Paine said in Common Sense, "Could the straggling thoughts of individuals be collected, they would frequently form materials for wise and able men to improve into useful matter." Any questions or tips on starting out a blog, feel free to contact me via social media (Twitter, Facebook) or email.

What's Happened to the Tea Party?

Lot's of people will have you believe that the Tea Party is dead. Just because they're selling doesn't mean you should be buying. What the conservative movement lacks right now is organization. We need to unify, organize, build up, condense our message, and come out for the 2014 midterms with a punch. Don't buy that the conservative is dead. Because it's always darkest before the dawn.

Atlas Shrugged Read in Schools?

State Senator John Goedde of Idaho has recently introduced legislation that would have all high school students read the iconic libertarian book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. The book, name dropped by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Paul Ryan, would not only be read by high schoolers in the Gem State, but they would also be tested on the material. What does this mean? I don't know, I'm not even sure it will pass, but I do know this: if this bill passes there will be a lot more libertarians in Idaho. Kids usually aren't exposed to this kind of material, and in my opinion, this would open their eyes. Again, I don't have a crystal ball, but my guess is that the powers controlling this country and their liberal ideology will come into Idaho and save it's citizens from the maniacal evils of conservatism.

This is the It!

If you are under the belief that the problems we face as a nation are due to extreme liberal policies then you are probably under the belief that Obama is the problem. That's not the case. The problem is we the people. We the people chose President Barack Obama to return back to the White House for a second term not only in the electorate, but in the popular vote. I refuse to believe we are a country full of "takers" or that we are a "liberal" nation. That's not to say we are a "conservative" nation. We are a free nation. A nation that values the individual over the state. A nation that leads other nations into great causes (e.g. WWII). Now every other superpower in the world is different from the US. European superpowers run socialized health care, have strict regulations on guns, and take care of everyone from cradle to grave. That is why places like Greece are having problems. But for every other nation in the world, there is somewhere to run to. The US. What Obama wants to do is turn us into another European nanny state. The 50,000 Canadians that fled to the US last year for health care reasons won't have anywhere to turn in 2014 when the same exact system is in place here. But that's what people in this country want to be. Or at least that's what the left wing zealots will tell you. But I don't believe that. I think that Mitt Romney wasn't the man for the hour and that David Axelrod and the Obama machine did a terrific job in selling his case to the American people. I don't know, I'm just one man with a blog.

Move to the Left

This country is very quickly moving to the left. With the recent reelection of President Obama, the left wing zealots, the pundits and politicians that make up the European socialist nanny state supporting group masquerading as a somewhat center political party, that we have come to know as the Democrats are spending every minute to move this country farther and farther to the left. Let's look at some examples.

1. Illegal Immigration - The GOP understands they need to create a base within the growing latino population in this country, and a quasi bi-partisan reform bill will be passed to allow illegal immigrants to become legal and to make it easier for Mexicans to legally enter the country. Being the libertarian that I am, I would have to say that I agree with that.

2. Legalization of Marijuana - While I think that this is a good thing, because I am relatively Libertarian, this is still a belief that is generally held by the left, so this is another example of a move to leftism.

3. Guns - Obama plans to enact an assault weapons ban through an executive order. A huge move to the left and a blow to liberty.

4. Gay Marriage - This is going to be tried in front of the supreme court and while I hope that gay people can legally marry, this is also a move to the left.

These are just four big examples. Beware, leftism is ahead, unless the American people wake up and fight it. It's not too late.

Possible Executive Order

Joe Biden said there could be an Executive Order written and signed into law which would tighten gun control. Wow. An executive order? The only reason that Obama won't go through congress is because he knows that a bill tightening gun control would never pass. Pray to God that Obama doesn't go too far.

Could Rand Paul Be Our Next President?

Rand Paul is taking a trip to Israel to see Benjamin Netanyahu and other important figures, and one can only wonder, is he gearing up to take the Democratic machine in 2016. I think he would make a good candidate, and if nominated, would be a large step forward for the Tea Party, who would most likely heavily endorse him. There aren't too many poster children for the Republican Party, so he wouldn't face too much opposition in the primaries. My guess is Jeb Bush will also run, but he won't ge able to win due to his unpopular brother, and he won't take any middle of the road states, due to guilt by association. Maybe Christie will run and possibly Paul Ryan. Now don't worry too much, Barack Obama was relatively unknown until 2008, so there could be someone that none of us know too well. In terms of Democrats, I could see Joe Biden running for president, he's hinted at it a couple of times, and maybe (if he's successful) John Kerry will run. I don't know anything for sure, so this is just a guess, but I'd be willing to bet on what I've said. The only question left is, can a hard right Tea Party candidate like Rand Paul win a general election?

Pinheads, what is it that you don't get?

Obamacare, which goes into effect in 2014, could show a glimpse of what will be done to this country when it's implemented, this year. Obamacare forces employers with over 50 employees to buy healthcare. And since the government will be tracking employers records from 3-12 months previous to the implementation of Obamacare. So what employers with over 50 employees, that relatively close to that number, who can't pay for, or don't want to pay for healthcare doing? They are laying off people in order to save money. What is it that some people in this country just don't get? What don't some of you understand? Please enlighten me, I'm curious. The concept I am talking about is so basic, it's ridiculous. I mean, what do you expect the type of employer I described earlier in the post to do. Say, "Gee, I can either pay lots of money on healthcare, or I can fire twenty people, and slow down business, but save more money. What ever will I do? I'm gonna have to think this one over, but that Obama guy, he's real convincing, so maybe I'll just buy the healthcare and go broke so that all 70 employees lose their jobs". C'mon now. If you are liberal and you are reading this and thinking, "What an idiot, does this guy not understand _____________" then I have good news for you. Video of the Week

Listen to the People!

It looks like John Boehner will be our Speaker again. Why? Why is John Boehner going to be our Speaker again? We are at a constant struggle with our politicians. When our founding fathers set up the United States they intended for the people to be the leader, not the politicians. I'm not very fond of party politics, as I feel that it can cause politicians to go against their beliefs and "compromise" in hopes that they can get elected again so that they can do good for the country their next term. These people, these Washington politicians, they don't give a rats ass about the people. They only care about getting elected. They only care about their poll numbers. These people think they are so great, that they must "compromise" in the name of getting themselves elected so that they can "help the nation". They act like without them we would all fail. Politicians don't move this country forward. Hard working Americans move this country forward. But that's how the Feinstein's and the Boehner's of the world think. This isn't an issue of Democrat vs. Republican. This isn't Conservative vs. Liberal. This is the People vs. Washington. I would rather have the first 100 people in the phonebook run this country than the clowns we have now. The politicians in this country don't think about what's best for the country. They think of what's best for them. And when we get people who don't do that, we will have a successful congress. Politicians should say "this is what I believe in..." and they should act on their beliefs. Not throw their convictions out the window the first minute they are offered votes for something they want done. Essentially, politicians decide which issues are important to them. They say, "Well it's ok for me to vote against my beliefs on bill x, because I know that I will get more votes for when I present bill y". No, it's not ok. Who are you to decide what issues are important and which aren't? Who are you to say Healthcare is more important, than say Gun's Rights? They are all equally important. Say what you want about Ron Paul, and I'm not saying this because he is a Republican, but he votes with his beliefs. He is the only congressman who, I can think of, that doesn't "compromise" in the name of getting re-elected. And he has served 12 terms. As reported by the Huffington Post (in a not so flattering article, "On November 8, 1999, Paul was the lone nay vote on a motion to suspend the rules and pass an amendment to fund the Office of Government Ethics." Give me an example of Boxer or Boehner doing something like this. Just one. Give me an example of them standing up to the parties, and not trying to vote in order to get votes on other bills, or offering to vote on other things. Congress is an economy of votes. I'm sick of it, and the American people are too. We need to stand up to our politicians. Call your congressman. Call into talk radio shows. Run for office. Don't be afraid. The American public doesn't want more politicians, they want more regular people, we need regular people.

Quote of the Day

"When you ask someone who is the leader of the United States of America, they will always answer Barack Obama or George W. Bush. Wrong Answer! The leader is the people. We the people" -Glenn Beck

A Late Happy New Year and What We Must Do For 2013

Happy New Year to all Americans. This last year has been one of ups and downs. An up for all of us at Inside Liberals was starting the conservative blog you are reading this very minute. The re-election of President Obama and the majority of Democrats in the Senate have been among the downs, but as Winston Churchill said "Never give in". What conservatives need to realize is that if we want to have any success in the next coming years, and we want to save this country from the tyrannic, socialist, nanny state masked as liberalism, our triumph is necessary. Instead of choosing middle of the road candidates like Mitt Romney, to whom conservatism is a second language, let's pick guys like Ted Cruz. The candidates like Ted Cruz can win. Republicans win election when they sell true conservative values. When Conservative values go toe to toe with liberal values, the conservative values will win. That's how Ronald Reagan won in 1980. Conservatives everywhere must unite this year, or this country will turn into the European cradle to grave nanny state we all fear.
